- Helmet or Wool/fleece hat
- Sunglasses/Goggles
- Gloves
- Soft-shell climbing pants
- Long-sleeve shirt with soft-shell jacket (it’s all about the layers!)
- Backpack
- Climbing boots – extra points for crampons!

- Sleeping bag
- Old/retired climbing ropes
- Map/Compass
- Ice axe
- Water bottle
- Headlamp
